Hot Water System Container
Mounted on this utility container are our solar thermal panels for heating hot water which is stored in tanks inside the container. From here a piping system distributes the hot water for domestic needs and radiant heating needs. The system runs in a continuous loop.
Uses HSE Corn Glycol propylene glycol, a non-toxic solution that is 100% renewable
Features a green roof, installed by Living Roofs of Asheville, NC - the roof channels of the shipping container are filled with soil medium, and planted with native plants that don’t require too much maintenance. Green roofs provide great insulation value, and add vegetation to the otherwise concrete and steel structure.
