Courtyard

The space between the exterior structure and the main structure features a courtyard that doubles as a permeable surface to mitigate excess surface water runoff. 

• Paved with Techo-bloc pavers with a 5,000-gallon dry well underneath. 

• Rainwater soaks in and replenishes the water table below, rather than being drained away from the site.  

The courtyard also provides outdoor event space, and easy logistical pick up point for food distribution partners (convenient loading access to the walk in cooler)
