Power

Burkett Farm’s Container Barn features a solar plus storage power utility that is not grid-tied. Our main photovoltaic array is on our 3,600-square-foot roof. The system includes:

• 144 LG 370 Mono solar panels = 56 KwH system 

• 1 4x8 SolarHOT Equinox panel ~ 30,000 BTU/day supporting hot water system 

Solar energy is processed via seven inverters and stored in 18 Tesla Powerwall 2 batteries that work to provide power for the facility.
